Burg Kalifa

This is the world's tallest building/man made structure at 2,722 feet. It was completed in 2010. It is twice as tall as our Empire State building. We visited the observation deck on the 124st floor and took pictures of the surrounding down town area. The first 39 floors are residences. The other floors are either corporate offices, restaurants or mechanical rooms. When it opened the cost for residences cost was $3,500/sq ft, while office space was $4,000/sq ft. Although the building is quite tall, the highest occupied floor are corporate offices on the 154th floor, which is at 1,918 foot level. So, the only thing above that are mechanical rooms and one equipment room up to the 2,722 foot level.
